CRESSI NEWS. SWIMMING, MOUNTAIN BIKE TREK AND RUNNING, TOGETHER WITH YOUR DOG! The weekend of the IRONDOG ended on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Litschau, Austria, two days dedicated to lovers of the triple discipline together with their animal (but there was also “only” the duathlon and the non-competitive race). Here’s who THE ITALIANS WERE IN THE RACE. EDOARDO ERRICO, head of the test laboratories of Gewiss (an electrotechnical company in the Bergamo area), AND HIS WIFE DANIELA, operator and teacher in manual holistic and sporting techniques, brought home Maggie, a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog female, eight years ago; after three years Antares, a male, arrived too.
“With them we have achieved excellent results in beauty contests, including Italian and international titles, and in other activities: we have approached utility and defense, through obedience, agility, research from rubble and water rescue”, says Edoardo. And then “why not try canicross [cross country running with your dog] and bikejoring [cycling with your dog]? In June in Bibione [near Venice] I participated in the first Italian triathlon with dogs. Could the IronDog be missing?” In addition, Edoardo continues, “with our dogs we are the testimonial of companies like Nando Muzi and Ca’ del Bosco: in leisure time (from sport) we relax as well. Spoiled, on photo shoots”.
