FROM LE GRAND BLEU TO THE OLYMPIC DREAM. Is now taking place the event organized by the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS), Federazione Italiana Pesca Sportiva e Attività Subacquee (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities - FIPSAS), Fédération Française d’Études et de Sports Sous-Marins (FFESSM) and Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano (Italian National Olympic Committee - CONI) in the “Salone d'Onore” of CONI, at the Foro Italico in Rome, to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the film “LE GRAND BLEU”.
The event also aims to demonstrate how this discipline can become part of the OLYMPIC PROGRAM. This event is attended by the most important national and international sport authorities and the family members of the two protagonists of the film, the legendary ENZO MAIORCA and JACQUES MAYOL.
On show, on this occasion, some objects belonging to the CRESSI HISTORICAL ARCHIVE, the company that sponsored the great JACQUES MAYOL, of which you can see, among other objects, the customized yellow wetsuit, the Rondine L fins and the Pinocchio mask.
